Classical Academy Vista Fourth-grade student Ophelia Evans earned a silver medal in karate at the 2025 Nikkei Games. Held August 10th at the Cal State Long Beach Pyramid, the annual event celebrates athletic excellence and Japanese cultural heritage, making her accomplishment especially meaningful. Thanks to Classical Academy’s flexible programs, Ophelia can balance her academic studies with the demanding training schedule required to compete in tournaments throughout the year.
